We think it’s fair to say the pandemic has reintroduced the world to their kitchens! But with everyone baking their way through 2020, how can science help us achieve the perfect rise or crisp snap that our bread and cookies deserve?
Join RCIScience for a special program exploring the science of baking, with special guest Sachin Seth, runner-up in The Great Canadian Baking Show’s second season! Sachin leads a baking demonstration where he’ll be whipping up his famous gingerbread cake with whipped cream and highlighting some of the chemistry behind your favourite baked goods. Bake along with Sachin, or sit back and chuckle as our novice bakers try to keep up!
This event is delivered in partnership with Markham Public Library.
